This is a cottage on a large property surrounded by lush landscaping and located behind the main house. The main grounds are shared with other tenants but you will have your own patio and private entrance. The Cottage is decorated in mid century modern decor with its own private kitchen, bathroom, walk in closet, and washer & dryer. You will have a seating area with TV and a comfortable Cal King bed. This is a modern studio cottage that includes a kitchen, Cal King bed, desk, seating area, bathroom with shower, washer & dryer, and patio area with BBQ. Lock box with key to sliding glass door We help the home owner manage the property. There are some long term tenants on the property as well as a few Airbnb guest. We are available by Airbnb messenger and we are also available by phone/text during your stay. We live close by so we can always come help out as needed. We prefer you go through us for any questions instead of the other tenants on the property. Your Hosts, April & Ryker This is a quiet, well-established neighborhood in Carmichael. You are close to the beautiful Milagro center that features a bright, airy indoor food court with Mexican food, burgers, poke, sushi, Italian food, coffee, gelato & other eats. There are plenty of shopping centers and restaurants in the area. You are about a 25-30 minute drive to downtown Sacramento. The Sacramento airport is about a 30 minutes drive. Arden Fair Mall is about 20 minutes away. You are close to the river here with great recreation areas such as the American River Parkway - William B. Pond Recreation Area. There are a few trails nearby as well including: Effie Yeaw Nature Loop Trail or the Ancil Hoffman Loop. You will need a car to get around or you can use Uber or Lyft. You can walk to the American river. The bike trail is accessible at the end of Arden way. There are motion sensors and camera's at the front of the property on the exterior only for security of the home and to help prevent unauthorized parties or guests. There are no cameras inside the cottage for your comfort and privacy. If you break any of the rules listed you may be asked to leave. Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG - globally recognized trust and safety insurance that allows hosts and guests to confidently transact. Once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to complete an ID verification process.

I liked all the greenery & the amenities that the cottage had to offer. A very nice private getaway. The place was clean and well maintained. The hosts were always responsive for the most part.

September 2025 5.00Amazing studio! My husband and I and our two pups needed a place close to home as our home underwent renovations that were delayed. The overall home and property were beautiful and peaceful. Decorated very well with comfortable bed and 800 count bedding was a bonus as we usually bring our own. Our unit was spotless and had everything needed to make meals and great coffee! It had a nice work area that allowed me to work remotely for the week. All of the amenities were well thought out. It had a huge fenced in yard that the pups loved - like having our own private park with peaceful spa atmosphere. The neighbors were kind and friendly as were the longer term renters staying in the house. This was the perfect home away from home. We will refer to friends visiting us in Sacramento and will stay again if ever needed. Location close to restaurants and beautiful Ancil Hoffman Park! Thank you for getting us in last minute and for allowing us to stay an additional night!

June 2025 5.00Ryker’s property was very comfortable, functional with a beautiful peaceful garden. Self check-in was made very easy. It had all the necessary linen and the kitchen was well equipped including an outside grill and private patio. The adjustable desk was also very convenient. The management team was very responsive in answering our questions. The property was conveniently located for the purposes of our visit. We would definitely stay again.
