Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and just what we needed to detox from the day to day life. The property is very private with lots to explore and do. The hot tub under the stars was an amazing way to end the night. My family enjoyed the pool table, fire pit, axe throw set and trail in the woods. Pictures dont do justice. We will definitely be back again.

Absolute peak Airbnb experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The secluded location was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, private, and perfect for unplugging. The kids and dogs had the best time exploring the woods out back, which made it feel like a little adventure for everyone. The home itself had everything we needed, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities. It truly felt like a unique experience compared to other places we’ve stayed. Check-in was a little tricky at first while we figured out the front gate, but once we got settled, everything was smooth. Pro tip: having groceries Instacarted before arrival was a total lifesaver and made things so much easier. Overall, such a special and memorable stay—we already can’t wait to come back!

This cabin is incredibly cool - private, peaceful surroundings and inside a cozy feel with a modern design. The hot tub, corn hole, and pool table kept us entertained between hanging out by the fire pit and cooking on the BBQ. The space was clean, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything we needed. The host communicated clearly from the start, and responded to our questions quickly. This was a perfect weekend getaway. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely stay again.

We loved the effortless check-in and the peaceful atmosphere—mornings on the porch and stargazing at night were highlights. If you want to disconnect and recharge in total comfort, this is the place. The cabin in Placerville secluded oasis. With amenities like bbq, fire-pit, game room, hammocks, fountains, this is truly a great place to vacation. 6 of us stayed here with pets and had a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful location for my family and well trained Malinois. This location is very private and the land is beautiful. Grab a cup of coffee or tea in the morning and enjoy the outdoor surroundings. Host is very responsive and helpful if needed.

Absolutely loved staying at this lovely home! We were here for Christmas and they even set up the inside of the house with decorations and a Christmas tree. We had such a peaceful and relaxing time here. Will absolutely be back again

Our favorite secluded, private, beautiful get away with stunning views from every direction. We went grocery shopping prior since we were aware the main town was about 30 minutes away. The house had everything and more. We enjoyed the hot tub with the sprinkles of rain, which felt extremely secluded and peaceful. We took walks into the woods and enjoyed the pool table and video games. We watched movies with the fireplace on and enjoyed the amazing bathtub on the 3rd floor looking out into the trees. We started our mornings watching a family of deer play in the back of the house. I would recommend anyone that would like a private, secluded retreat with the beautiful views to stay. Ryker was very communicative and checked in with us. He was easy to reach when needed, which wasn't much. Our rainy weekend was so enjoyable, we actually contacted Ryker to extend, which pleasantly we were able to! An amazing staycation for us!

Absolutely in awe of this property and cabin. The layout was absolutely perfect for our family. Every direction you look is beautiful forest and very private. The drive to the cabin was breathtaking. The host was extremely easy to work with when we had to change our dates and was very quick to respond. The interior decor is emasculate and makes me want to completely redecorate our Airbnb. Couldn’t say enough great things about this home. Will definitely be back

We had a great time at Rykers Airbnb. The deer came right up to the house there was lots of things to do including the hot tub and fire pit. He also let us check in earlier so we could get the girls down for nap which was very much appreciated. Thanks for a great stay! We would definitely come back!

Family of 5 with a pooch enjoyed the amenities, property & mountain views. It was a bit off the beaten path but to our family, that was what exactly what we were looking for. Apple Hill has always been a favorite area but now we have a new favorite spot :)

The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. The views and scenery are absolutely stunning! We had lunch at a place called Smoke on the Water which was about 5 to 10 minutes from the house. It was amazing, great food and awesome customer service! The only draw back... the road you have to take to get there.. it is not for the weak! Lol go slow and be alert! I also highly advise doing the drive during daylight hours! Other than that everything was amazing and we enjoyed our stay very much! Sam

Great Place! Really out there. Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful.

Beautiful cabin in a remote neighborhood. I just wish I knew how windy and steep the roads were coming up! But once we were there it was wonderful, clean, and beautiful.

We had an amazing stay! The hot tub at night under the stars and moon (we had a full moon) with the water fall and surrounded by trees was so peaceful. Beautiful sunrise to drink your coffee to every morning on the front porch. My kids enjoyed the game room a lot! The bath tub in the master is amazing! We went to apple hill one day and gold bug mine another. We went out to eat every night but I really wish we bought food to cook so we could have spent more time at the house because it was our favorite part of the trip. But if you are looking for some good bbq hog wild bbq is top notch! They were on Guy Fieri’s Best bite in town. The house was very clean and whoever designed the house and the interior design they did an amazing job! The house is beautiful! We had a couple questions and they were great at getting right back to us fast! We will definitely be back!

This place definitely has that charming, campy, isolated vibe that makes it feel like a hidden getaway. The surroundings are beautiful and it was a fun spot for a weekend. But there are some things to know before booking: • The drive in is one of the most terrifying roads I’ve ever been on. It’s a one-lane road where cars fly up and down, and it never felt safe. • The listing shows the master bedroom as a king, but it’s actually a queen (maybe even a full). On top of that, the beds weren’t very comfortable. • The downstairs has a musty smell. Honestly, I wouldn’t let my kid sleep down there. Overall, it was a fun weekend experience, but with the road, the bed situation, and the musty smell, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Absolutely breathtaking home and surrounding land. Even more beautiful than the pictures. My husband and I were able to watch the sunrise come up over the mountains from the front deck. We visited the restaurant recommended on the listing, Smoke on the Water. That restaurant was amazing, staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. I saw another review say to bring everything you need since the town is 30 minutes away, I would second that statement.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! It was the perfect family getaway with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. The kids loved the games and activities, and we even brought our bikes to ride around the peaceful neighborhood. We saw tons of wildlife, deer, turkeys, and coyotes, but no bears, which the kids were half hoping for 😄 The cabin is a bit of a drive from town, but we didn’t mind, it added to the peaceful, tucked away feel. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape or a quiet break from the city (or in our case, the desert heat), this cabin is ideal. The host was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We’d definitely stay again!

Absolutely magical! This place went above and beyond our expectations. The setup is perfect for fully enjoying the property—there’s so much to do, whether you’re looking to relax or have fun. My friends and I truly wished we had stayed longer. We had booked other activities and didn’t get to enjoy everything the property has to offer. If you’re planning a visit, make sure to reserve at least one full day just to soak it all in—you won’t regret it! We’re already planning our return. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the layout and comfort of the home and the host was responsive and polite throughout our stay. All the nature around is such a major plus. We watched deers walking around the area every morning with our coffee. However we did experience some cleanliness issues on arrival and had neatly folded damp towels - which was disappointing given expectations. The biggest concern was the jacuzzi, which appeared murky and had buildup around the lights. Although the hosts acted quickly and had someone service it the next day, the water still didn’t look clean enough to use during our stay. A couple of small improvements could make the stay even more family-friendly, such as adding outlet covers, especially in the kids’ room and installing window screens to allow fresh air in without letting bugs in. With a few improvements to cleanliness and maintenance this home could be an excellent stay. We hope to come back again to enjoy Ryker’s lovely house.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Me and the family had a wonderful time. From the beginning until check out we felt right at home. I will definitely be coming back. You should know you’ll have to go the long way if mosquito road is closed due to bridge maintenance. Pack all that you’ll need the trip back to town is approx 35min.

This private cabin in the woods was beautiful with more luxury accommodations than you can imagine. The host was kind, responsive and very helpful. This cabin is very remote on a curvy road so take your time and enjoy the ride. Loved the hot tub and the beautiful deck. We would definitely come back to this location in the future and plan to stay longer.
