The property is conveniently located, about 20 minutes from Heavenly Village, and was a comfortable size for our family of seven. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The beds and mattresses were not very comfortable. The queen mattress in the Brown Bear room and the king mattress in the primary bedroom both sagged noticeably. The Brown Bear room also had visible cobwebs and dust that could have been cleaned. The fire pit area off the primary bedroom wasn’t usable because the chairs were moldy. The skylights in the bedrooms let in a lot of morning light, which was fine for us as early risers, but light sleepers may want to bring eye masks. The downstairs bedroom had no AC. I understand that Tahoe houses don’t have cooling but I booked this property partly because it advertised AC. Coffee pods and cooking oil were missing on arrival, but Heather responded quickly and had them delivered. Overall, we had a decent stay, but there is room for improvement.
